How sweet to see her trying to walk ... and the nice smile on the face of the girl helping her. I hope you can hold her hands like that and help her walk. Maybe she'll be shy of you? I hope she takes to you right away.
Did I tell you about they guy in Costco when I bought the formula? He asked something like, "Why are you going over there? Can't you just bring the orphans over here for a while?"
oh i totally wish we could bring them over here! *sigh* would if i could. I wouldn't be able to adopt Tiff til I'm thirty and she'd be 16. That doesn't work so well.
Whohoooo! I can't wait to hear how it goes! Will be such an experience being in a place where the Lord is so evidently working. I m so happy for you to get to have such an amazing experience!
No I didn't get it Anne...I'll swing by the church and look though! Thanks so much! It's so fun to have a whole suitcase of stuff to take just for the kids!
You ever watch a movie and think…I wish life could be just like that?
You see the little things in the character’s lives and wonder why yours isn’t that way.
Well it is. Just look around.
I could be in a movie right now.
I’m sitting at the counter on a high bar stool. I’m wearing jeans, gray converse, and a plaid red jacket that used to be my dad’s. My hair is down and wavy in some spots from the braid it was in. Typing on my computer. Homework book opened in front of me. Daffodils in a bowl stand to the right. They’re not looking as hot as they were a couple days ago. Backpack, keys, apron, and cell are spread out on the counter. Music plays from my laptop. It’s like a soundtrack to my life. I can see out the dining room window. It’s dark except for the city lights. I’m supposed to be doing homework. But my mind wanders.
See? I could be in a movie. I’d make an interesting character with my funny outfit. Who knows what has been happening in the plot to make this moment interesting. But there’s a bigger story. I can’t help wonder what it is.

Wow, she looks so so skinny here! I hope she is doing better now. She will be lucy to have you with her and showing her so much love!
