- You ever watch a movie and think…I wish life could be just like that? You see the little things in the character’s lives and wonder why yours isn’t that way. Well it is. Just look around. I could be in a movie right now. I’m sitting at the counter on a high bar stool. I’m wearing jeans, gray converse, and a plaid red jacket that used to be my dad’s. My hair is down and wavy in some spots from the braid it was in. Typing on my computer. Homework book opened in front of me. Daffodils in a bowl stand to the right. They’re not looking as hot as they were a couple days ago. Backpack, keys, apron, and cell are spread out on the counter. Music plays from my laptop. It’s like a soundtrack to my life. I can see out the dining room window. It’s dark except for the city lights. I’m supposed to be doing homework. But my mind wanders. See? I could be in a movie. I’d make an interesting character with my funny outfit. Who knows what has been happening in the plot to make this moment interesting. But there’s a bigger story. I can’t help wonder what it is.

It's amazing to me how you can look at the picture and name so many of the kids! You are going to fall head over heals in love with Tiff. I predict ... you will cry most of the way home. Sniff. We'll bring extra tissues.

Wow, I like this picture where did you get it? My baby Tristan is in there too! He is the one with the red vest on in the right corner standing up, and of course you can spot his cleft lip, which by the way should be repaired by now. I was told he was coming home from the hospital last week but haven't heard anything else. I am so jealous that you and Annie get to go and see all the kids! Can one of you please get some pics of Tristan for me?? That would be awesome! I hope you trip is fabulous and I hope you don't have a hard time leaving these beautiful kids. How long are you guys staying??
Hey Sharon! Tristan is adorable! I'd LOVE to get pics of him for you! I actually just ordered a fancy epensive camera so I'm sure I'll have more pics than I'll know what to do with when I get home. :) We're staying for 10 days. And yay about Tristan's cleft lip being fixed! It'll be cool to see pics of him now!
Thank You Kaisha, it would be so awesome to have more pics of him, and yeah especially since his lip will be fixed! What kind of things are you going to be doing there? Just loving on the kids, or helping out with events or projects? It is my dream to go and visit there, I have begun to learn all the children's names and I really look forward to seeing pictures of them.
We'll hang out with the kids and see some sites like the Great Wall while we're there! Can't wait! I've been trying to figure the kids out too. It'll be nice to know some of them before I get there. :)
